We are catering our services to Tier 3 and below cities, which covers the 65% of the Indian population out of which 50% are women borrowers residing in rural areas.
We provide income generating loan products to women which not only improves their living standards but gives them a respect in the society.
People in these areas are either having informal credit history or no credit history at all, but forced to deal with the local money lenders, where OceanPe plays a vital role with the availability of formal financial services at their door step with the financial & digital education.
OceanPe primarily catering to the “Missing Middle/Lower Segment” (INR 30K to 200K ) borrower is severally underserved by banks and NBFC/MFIs due to unavailability of formal banking services.

OceanPe created over 2.5k entrepreneurs across 5 states in rural India.

Women Empowerment

The areas where OceanPe operates are regions where some of the most underbanked women in India live and are largely unserved by formal and informal banking facilities.

OceanPe’s focus is to serve as the financial partner to “Women Entrepreneurs” from Semi-urban & Rural locations in India to create Social Impact towards building a more “Financially Aware” and “Digitally Literate” society as a whole.
